What are wow and flutter?
Wow is relatively slow pitch movement, often associated with uneven transport speed. Flutter is faster pitch modulation. This tool tracks both against a tonal pilot and shows their separated curve components.
Can it repair a complete music mix automatically?
Not reliably. It needs a sufficiently stable, exposed tone or harmonic whose expected frequency is known or can be estimated. Dense mixes, changing notes, percussion and noise can produce low-confidence or misleading tracks.
How does the correction preserve duration?
It reads the source through bounded time-varying linear interpolation while writing exactly the original decoded number of frames. The final boundary can contain a held last sample when accumulated correction reaches the source edge.
What should I listen for in Difference?
Difference contains the sample-by-sample change between Corrected and Source. It helps reveal how much timing and phase movement the resampling introduced, but a quieter Difference does not by itself prove a better restoration.
