2. Types and scope of services.
AudioWrench provides free electronic services through a web browser:
- audio editing, conversion, effects, analysis, generation and recording tools;
- BalanceDAW, a browser-based music production workspace;
- educational guides and technical information about audio workflows;
- optional AI-assisted modes that download selected engines or models to the browser.
No account, subscription or payment is currently required. This describes the current release and is not a promise that availability or terms can never change. Standard tools process selected files locally in the browser. Optional model and library downloads are described in the Privacy & storage notice.
3. Technical requirements and risks.
You need an internet connection for initial page and asset delivery, a current browser with JavaScript enabled, and a device capable of the requested Web Audio, WebAssembly, media or file operation. Some features additionally require microphone permission, sufficient memory and user-requested local storage, or browser support for audio worklets and SharedArrayBuffer.
Large files, complex projects and AI models can consume significant memory, CPU, battery and storage. Keep your own copy of important source files and exports. Browser storage can be removed by the user, browser, operating system or storage policy and is not a backup service.
AudioWrench publishes current information about material security risks and the purpose of browser storage in the Privacy & cookies notice.
4. Permitted use and unlawful content.
You may use the service for lawful personal, educational or commercial audio work. You must not use AudioWrench to violate applicable law, infringe copyright or other rights, bypass access controls, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or provide unlawful content through any feature that communicates with a network service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the files, recordings, voices, text and other material you process. AudioWrench does not acquire ownership of your source files or exports.
5. Starting and ending use.
The agreement for a free electronic service is concluded when you request and begin using the relevant AudioWrench page or function after these terms have been made available. You may end use at any time by closing the page and, where applicable, deleting AudioWrench site data from your browser.
We may refuse or interrupt access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention or a material breach of these terms. AudioWrench does not lock user files into a remote account.
6. Availability and responsibility.
The service is developed on a best-effort basis and may be changed, temporarily unavailable or incompatible with a particular device, browser, codec or file. Preview results before relying on an export, especially for professional, safety-critical or archival use. The Hearing Test and Tinnitus Masker are audio utilities, not medical devices, and do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
Text to Speech produces synthetic audio. Its downloadable WAV and MP3 files include a machine-readable AI marker and a provenance JSON sidecar. You must not remove or misrepresent that disclosure where applicable law requires it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, guarantees or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. Complaints and technical reports.
Send complaints or technical reports to kontakt@balanceit.pl. Include the affected URL, device/browser, a description of the issue, when it occurred and the result you expect. Do not attach confidential source audio unless we specifically agree on a secure method.
We will acknowledge and respond to a complaint within 14 calendar days. If more information is required to investigate, we may ask for it using the contact details you provide.
8. Privacy and local storage.
The Privacy & cookies notice explains controller information, actual data flows, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention, browser storage and your GDPR rights. AudioWrench does not require collecting personal data merely because the service is available online.
9. Changes and applicable law.
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and will be published in a form that can be saved. You may stop using the service if you do not accept an updated version.
Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections granted by the law applicable to them. Disputes may be resolved by a court competent under applicable law; these terms do not impose an exclusive court on consumers.
