A real signal chain, not a named hardware claim

The preamp applies input gain before a smooth asymmetric transfer curve, so driven settings create measurable harmonics while low-gain settings stay comparatively clean. Bass and treble are shelving filters, mid is a peaking band and presence is a separate high shelf after the tone stack.

Every cabinet choice uses its own stable digital filter cascade. The response plot shows the nominal linear tone-and-cabinet curve; it cannot show level-dependent harmonics from the nonlinear preamp. The original preset names describe broad tonal directions only and do not claim to reproduce a particular amplifier, speaker or recording chain.

Does this simulate a specific guitar amplifier?
No. The presets are original signal-chain starting points, not models of named hardware. They combine gain, a bounded nonlinear transfer curve, digital tone filters and distinct stable cabinet responses.
What do the cabinet models actually do?
Each cabinet option runs a different stable cascade of high-pass, low-pass, shelf and peaking filters. These responses reshape low-end resonance, midrange contour and high-frequency roll-off; bypass skips that stage.
Can I use it for bass or a full mix?
Bass DI is designed to retain more lows and upper detail. Full mixes can be processed, but nonlinear preamp stages create new harmonics across everything, so start with low gain and use the dry/wet control.
Is my audio uploaded, and are exports the same duration?
Selected audio is decoded, processed and encoded on your device and is not uploaded to AudioWrench. WAV and MP3 receive the processed buffer with the decoded source sample rate, channel count and exact frame count; MP3 container padding may add decoder-reported delay.
